Thunderforce 6 pics: yes, it is real.
So here's what I can gather from the scans: 1) The weapons appear to be the same as TF5. I can spot free-range, hunter, wave, etc.
2) They are really pulling from previous games for themes/content. Notice the fire level and destroyed city.
3) There appears to be a recycled boss from TF 3 (Hydra).
4) The engine is 3-D based with 2-D gameplay (like Ikaruga)
5) This looks very promising - almost like an upgrade of TF5.
6) It's being developed by Sega.

Yes, this is some amazing news. I was very happy to see a new Thunderforce game.
That's nice, but here's my gripes:
1. Sega & Technosoft need to put this on the Wii so it would get a bit more recognition.
2. More weapon sets; the TF5 weapons are nice, but I'd like a bit more variety.
3. The original Sharp X1/Fujitsu FM7 Thunder Force as an unlockable.
Awesome news indeed. I have never really gotten a hand at the older Thunderforce titles but I know they are well loved.
