Shred Nebula: More XBLA arena generic shooters...
Shred Nebula has been announced for the XBLA.....another Asteroids type dual analog Super Stardust looking clone. It features deathmatches via system link or over Live Arcade. Release date is 3rd Quarter of 2008.
Sorry if this post sounds sarcastic, but these type of games are getting to be a dime a dozen. Please stop flooding the market with cheap arena shmups and make the effort to create a genuine scrolling, leveled traditional shooter.
Check out the IGN video here.

I totally agree. Someone show these developers what real shoot'em ups are! I can't stand arena shoot'em ups.
So much for the X-Box Live Marketplace (there are games worth getting an X-360, but I don't want the crap that comes with it).
Whilst your statement does seem true, a problem is that even if this company made a scrolling shmup, its gameplay would probably be shite anyway. What we need is those Cave games being ported to US/euro shores.
